It’s a flight stick, and it does add a lot to the realism of flight sims to be able to feel things like ground bumps and aerodynamic forces on your airplanes some sims even let you feel things like turbulence. I use this for Microsoft’s Flight Simulator and find it fills the bill. I disagree with whatever most said except about how long this stick will last. But taken with some of the other problems I’ve read about here, I have to think there are probably some real quality control issues with this stick.
I always wonder why force feedback is an option for these flight sims when they dont even make them anymore. It can be surprisingly forceful given how light the stick is.

Considering the limitations of the hardware on joysticm a fundamental level, we did not continue development. Thanks PH to verify this on Win10 64bit, so one thing is sure it does not work on a Win10 64bit system. Every USB Force Feecback device we made after these two devices can accept on-the-fly effects sent to them from the comptuer and do not require preloading to the hardware.
Both work fine although the 45 position on one of the hat switches is a little shaky. Configuring the thing for the latest games was a complete hassle. Windows does show it as a Wingman Force in the “unspecified device” category in the Control Panel “Devices and Printers” applet, but gives roll-over status messages of “Driver unavailable” and “driver error”.
Please try your search again later. Unfortunately, those days are gone, and force feedback joysticks along with quality joysticks in general are fewer in number than ever, and joystifk as good as they used to be.
Joysticl dismantling the joystick I found that the joystick was just shoddily constructed of poor components. Extreme 3D Pro Joystick for Windows. Windows could not find drivers for it. A brand could release a new model or one of those small studios could make one. Centering is always an issue with force feedback sticks because they rely on the motors for centering rather than springs. The memory of the device was quite good at the time of the build, but now and with what game developers are doing, it’s very limited To extend the life of the product, we implemented ever-more complex tricks to get the device to transparently work as long as possible, but modern game effects continued to put more demand on the hardware.
