Hi, disabling highdma with ethtool seems to work around the issue. This can be done with something like: The tg3 broadcom network driver that binds with chipset goes offline and unable to recover even with tg3 watchdog fg3 when network transmit is under high load.

It seems to take longer for dmesg to log anything or for Network Manager to show that the ethernet interface has been disconnected.
